A business development and strategic partnerships manager role for someone who can build strategic relationships, generate qualified opportunities and help grow a boutique modern legal, corporate and business advisory firm.
About the Role
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (BST)
Arrangement: Remote for the first 6 months, then expected to attend our Sheikh Zayed office at least 3 days per week
Compensation: Competitive salary plus qualified lead commission
About the role
Sterling Legal Solutions is a London-based legal, corporate and business advisory firm supporting companies, founders, entrepreneurs, investors, private clients, family offices and international businesses.
We are now building our Egypt presence as part of our wider UK, UAE and MENA strategy. Our Cairo function supports the firm’s London and UAE-facing operations, while also creating a platform for Egypt market entry, corporate services, accounting, tax, VAT, private client, family office and cross-border advisory work.
We are looking for a Business Development and Strategic Partnerships manager to help develop our Egypt-side client pipeline, referral network and strategic relationships.
This is not a generic sales role. We are looking for someone who understands that professional services are built through trust, credibility, relationships and disciplined follow-up.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Partner to develop relationships with founders, SMEs, family businesses, investors, accountants, lawyers, bankers, consultants, corporate service providers, tax advisers, wealth advisers and other professional intermediaries.
The role is initially remote for the first 6 months. Once our Sheikh Zayed office is ready, the successful candidate will be expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
Developing relationships with Egyptian founders, SMEs, family businesses, investors and professional advisers.
Building referral relationships with accountants, tax advisers, lawyers, bankers, consultants, corporate service providers and business networks.
Identifying opportunities for Egypt-to-UK, Egypt-to-UAE and UK/UAE-to-Egypt client work.
Generating qualified introductions across corporate services, UAE company formation, Egypt market entry, accounting, tax, VAT, commercial contracts, private client and family office services.
Supporting warm outreach, LinkedIn engagement, follow-ups and partnership conversations.
Booking qualified consultations and coordinating introductions with the Managing Partner.
Maintaining CRM records, pipeline updates and follow-up processes.
Preparing partnership proposals, outreach materials and client development notes.
Supporting events, networking opportunities and strategic relationship-building in Egypt.
Helping position the Cairo office as a serious professional support hub for Egypt, UK and UAE-related work.
Identifying market opportunities and feeding commercial insight back into the firm.
